Animation about GDPR compliance
Novo Nordisk asked us to make an educational video about how their colleagues should comply with the new GDPR rules from the EU.
The films were a mix of 3D scenes with 2D characters made in After Effects and Cinema 4D.
The data padlock as a symbol
The make “personal data” visual in this animation, we needed it to both symbolise digital data and protection.
Therefore we created a symbol of “living” data-lines that are put together in the shape of a padlock.
These data-lines are also binding the whole film together.

Novo Nordisk is a medical company discovering more effective treatments for people living with diabetes and other serious chronic diseases.
Their headquarters is based in Denmark.
GDPR
...or the General Data Protection Regulation, is a comprehensive data protection and privacy regulation in the European Union (EU). It went into effect on May 25, 2018, and it aims to give individuals more control over their personal data. GDPR sets rules for how organizations collect, process, and store personal data, and it requires them to be transparent about their data practices, obtain consent, and provide data subjects with the right to access and delete their information. Non-compliance can result in significant fines.
